O limite de seguran\u00e7a era 1%. Ent\u00e3o foi mandada uma equipe (a &#8220;equipe vermelha&#8221;, qualificada a se aproximar do foguete enquanto tem combust\u00edvel) para ajustar o torque nos parafusos em uma v\u00e1lvula de controle do reabastecimento do est\u00e1gio principal, localizada na plataforma de lan\u00e7amento. A equipe, de 2 t\u00e9cnicos e um oficial de seguran\u00e7a (para monitorar a situa\u00e7\u00e3o) resolveu o problema e o reabastecimento pode continuar. Ent\u00e3o foi encontrado um problema com uma conex\u00e3o \u00e0 internet da 45<sup>th<\/sup> Space Wing da For\u00e7a Espacial, respons\u00e1vel pelo RADAR que observa a regi\u00e3o de exclus\u00e3o (para detectar se alguma aeronave invade a zona de exclus\u00e3o de voo) e pelo sistema de termina\u00e7\u00e3o (&#8220;autodestrui\u00e7\u00e3o&#8221;). Os reparos levaram a cerca de 45 minutos de atraso, mas ap\u00f3s conclu\u00eddos, a contagem foi continuada, e o lan\u00e7amento ocorreu perfeitamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Orion, acoplada ao m\u00f3dulo de servi\u00e7o e ao segundo est\u00e1gio (ICPS), ficou segura em \u00f3rbita baixa ap\u00f3s a manobra de circulariza\u00e7\u00e3o (Perigee Raise Maneuver), em T+47m, para garantir que sua \u00f3rbita n\u00e3o intercepta a Terra. Ap\u00f3s mais testes e verifica\u00e7\u00f5es em \u00f3rbita, o ICPS foi usado em uma longa queima para se colocar na trajet\u00f3ria para a Lua (TLI &#8211; Trans-Lunar Injection), antes de se separar do m\u00f3dulo de servi\u00e7o. O ICPS est\u00e1 em uma trajet\u00f3ria em que, ap\u00f3s passar perto da Lua, vai ser colocado em uma \u00f3rbita helioc\u00eantrica (orbitar o Sol, n\u00e3o mais a Terra). E a Orion, com o seu m\u00f3dulo de servi\u00e7o, est\u00e1 seguindo para a Lua, como planejado. Ent\u00e3o, no dia 16 vai usar o motor do m\u00f3dulo de servi\u00e7o para sair da DRO, se dirigindo para uma nova passagem pr\u00f3xima \u00e0 Lua, para usar novamente a gravidade da Lua e uma queima do motor do m\u00f3dulo de servi\u00e7o para se colocar na trajet\u00f3ria de retorno \u00e0 Terra. Ela vai chegar \u00e0 Terra no dia 26 da miss\u00e3o (11 de dezembro), quando vai ocorrer o teste que \u00e9 o principal objetivo da miss\u00e3o: a reentrada na atmosfera da Terra, vindo em velocidade translunar (11 km\/s), que \u00e9 o teste para o escudo t\u00e9rmico e a trajet\u00f3ria de reentrada na atmosfera (que inclui &#8220;quicar&#8221; uma vez, para reduzir a velocidade mais gradualmente). A c\u00e1psula Orion e seu escudo t\u00e9rmico foram testados em 2014, mas como foi apenas uma \u00f3rbita n\u00e3o t\u00e3o alta (por ser o m\u00e1ximo poss\u00edvel com o maior foguete dispon\u00edvel na \u00e9poca, um Delta IV Heavy), a velocidade de reentrada foi mais baixa, s\u00f3 8.9 km\/s. passageiros:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Indicadores de gravidade zero: Astronauta Snoopy (NASA) e Astronauta Shaun Carneiro (ESA). Tradicionalmente, se usa objetos macios soltos na cabine para se observar visualmente quando a nave est\u00e1 em gravidade zero. Para essa miss\u00e3o, a NASA escolheu um astronauta com d\u00e9cadas de experi\u00eancia, desde o projeto Apollo, o Snoopy. N\u00e3o s\u00f3 o boneco faz parte da hist\u00f3ria: o m\u00f3dulo lunar da Apollo 10 tinha o nome oficial de Snoopy, enquanto o m\u00f3dulo de comando e servi\u00e7o era chamado Charlie Brown. J\u00e1 a ESA enviou o brit\u00e2nico Shaun Carneiro.<\/li><li>Moonikin Campos: O manequim com sensores usado para testar a roupa (Orion Crew Survival System &#8211; OCSS), que ser\u00e1 usada por astronautas para os proteger durante as fases mais arriscadas, sendo capaz de prover ar e manter a pressuriza\u00e7\u00e3o, controlar a temperatura e fornecer fluidos para consumo, podendo manter um astronauta por at\u00e9 6 dias caso haja perda de press\u00e3o na cabine. O nome do manequim \u00e9 uma homenagem a Arturo Campos, um engenheiro de sistemas el\u00e9tricos que trabalhou em encontrar como salvar os astronautas na miss\u00e3o Apollo 13.<\/li><li>Helga e Zohar: manequins mais simples (apenas torso e cabe\u00e7a), para um experimento de teste de uma nova roupa de prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra radia\u00e7\u00e3o, a AstroRad. Um manequim est\u00e1 sem a AstroRad, o outro est\u00e1 a usando, o que permitir\u00e1 medir a diferen\u00e7a, para saber qual foi o n\u00edvel de prote\u00e7\u00e3o dado pela roupa.<\/li><li>Callisto: esta sem corpo, \u00e9 uma prima da Alexa do Amazon. \u00c9 um sistema desenvolvido pela Lockheed Martin, Amazon e Cisco, para ser um assistente virtual para a tripula\u00e7\u00e3o.
